Icebreaker LLPs have invested in a broad range of activities by licensing, developing and exploiting intellectual property. Here are a few examples of potential and existing Icebreaker LLP activities.

• Licensing the right to record musical compositions onto an album. The LLP incurs expenditure on recording and marketing of an album using the compositions, and derives income from sales of CDs, downloads, ancillary products and future albums.
  
  
• Licensing the right to exploit the treatment for a potential new publication. The LLP incurs expenditure on production and marketing of books based on the treatment, and derives income from sales of the books and ancillary products.
  
  
• Licensing the right to exploit the know how for a potential new technology or software platform. The LLP incurs expenditure on the creation and marketing of the new technology or software platform, and derives income from licences of the right to distribute or use it.
  
  
• Licensing the right to exploit the image rights of an individual. The LLP incurs expenditure to enable the individual’s career to be developed and marketed, and derives income from the individual’s earnings.
