Icebreaker Management acts as the
administrator and advisor to all the existing
Icebreaker LLPs and offers this expertise to future
LLP members.
Caroline Hamilton:
Caroline is the Managing Director and founding
shareholder of Icebreaker Management. Throughout
her career, she has been involved with enabling
small businesses to grow and exploiting know how
and other rights. For many years, she was a financier
to the film and television industry, and before
that she was a member of the structured finance
team at Dresdner Kleinwort.
Caroline is also familiar with the single-minded
determination that is required for entrepreneurs
and other individuals to succeed. As a polar explorer,
she was the leader of the only all-women expedition
to ski to the North and South Poles. As well as
travelling through the most extreme conditions
on earth, this role also involved masterminding
the expeditions’ sponsorship and marketing
strategy.
The Icebreaker business model is Caroline’s
brainchild and she has been its principal architect
since inception in 2003.
Previously Caroline played a key role in developing
gap insurance for the film and television industry.
During her ten years as an advisor to insurance
companies, she was involved with more than fifty
international productions.
Caroline graduated with a Natural Sciences degree
from Girton College, Cambridge in 1985, where
she was also a triple blue.
Tim Jeynes: Tim
has been an integral member of Icebreaker Management
since inception. He brings nearly 20 years’
experience of the know how and creative industries,
having previously held senior positions in software
companies and worked in business affairs in the
international film and television industry.
Tim was a key sales and marketing executive for
a former subsidiary of Citigroup now known as
EBS Dealing Resources International. EBS successfully
pioneered new global interbank foreign exchange
dealing and broking software systems to compete
with the monopoly held by Reuters. Tim was also
an important member of Spottiswoode & Spottiswoode,
the company that successfully launched and sold
the Blueprint range of software packages to companies
throughout the UK.
More recently, Tim was responsible for co-ordinating
Section 48 “sale and leaseback” transactions,
structuring film and television risks for insurance
companies, and monitoring the performance of productions.
Tim heads the investor relations team at Icebreaker
Management and he is also responsible for much
of the day-to-day administration of the Icebreaker
LLPs.
Tim graduated in 1986 with a Geography degree
from St. Catharine’s College, Cambridge.
Yorkabel Soquar:
Yorkabel is a key member of the investor relations
team. She acts as a principal contact for new
LLPs and she is also responsible for circulating
information and ensuring smooth communication
between the Members.
Before joining Icebreaker Management, Yorkabel
worked as a project management administrator for
the NHS’ national IT programme, NHS Connecting
for Health. As such, she co-ordinated the activities
of around 60 people in the London office, organised
events and was key in creating and developing
a project delivery framework fro the service implementation
team.
Prior to that, Yorkabel worked in the sales team
at BUPA Wellness where she was responsible for
a number of important corporate accounts.
Yorkabel graduated in 2002 with a History and
Economics degree from Manchester University.
Sunita Corray:
Sunita is a key member of Icebreaker Management’s
project and business affairs team. She has particular
responsibility for assisting the LLPs in sourcing
and evaluating potential projects, as well as
in negotiating, drafting and implementing effective
documentation and procedures.
Previously, Sunita successfully identified and
supported the delivery of the first online distribution
opportunities for media rights holder, Catalyst
Media Group plc. For five years, she also managed
Catalyst’s ongoing business relationships
and assisted in marketing strategies geared towards
expanding audience share for the group.
Sunita’s business experience also includes
media production. She has worked in a number of
broadcast newsrooms and is a 2005 graduate of
TV Current Affairs Journalism from City University.
Sunita graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts
from the University of New South Wales in Sydney,
Australia.
Matt Hodson: Matt
is a consultant and a key member of the sales
team. He is responsible for developing and maintaining
relationships with independent financial advisors
and he also assists in the development of new
investment ideas.
Matt brings extensive relevant experience to Icebreaker
Management as he was previously a Business Development
Manager at Drummonds Bank. While at Drummonds,
he was instrumental in providing numerous loans
to enable investors to become members of limited
liability partnerships.
Matt started his career as a professional footballer.
He was trained through the youth system at Wycombe
Wanderers Football Club and was a senior player
there before moving to Hayes FC where he made
frequent appearances in the non-League premier
division. Matt was also trained under the England
Schoolboys set up as a youngster.
